Who Should Attend?

Anyone operating Plant and Machinery on site


Our own in-house assessment programme, primarily aimed at employers seeking to obtain a qualification for their own employees to meet Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 requirements. Our Assessor will visit you on-site using your machine and take you through a series of manoeuvres to prove competence. You will then be issued with a 4 year competence card.
Categories of plant include dumpers, roller, excavators, telehandler, forklift, lorry loader, tractor, MEWP, side-loader, loading shovel.

All Other Courses

Street Works

Under current UK regulations, any person required to carry out any work on the Highway, footways or their curtilage must be trained and assessed as competent and hold a Vocational Qualification in the work they will undertake.

The minimum level of qualification is the SQA New Roads & Street Works certificate, to either supervisor or operative level. Obtaining it will involve an element of formal training followed by practical exercises and on-site assessment.
